Whilst the shade is fine the gold plastic piping at the top and bottom came loose within a few weeks. It proved difficult to repair and I had to remove both. The end result is a frame with glue rings top and bottom. Not good!

I wanted a lampshade for a traditional wooden standard lampstand, but not too large due to space restraints, or too expensive! The Geneva Shade was exactly right on all counts:- shape, size, neutral colour and classical gold edged style. It was also in my price range. I think this would also be a good lampshade for any large table lamp and would fit with any decor.
