Sturdy, attractive, just what we wanted, and a fantastic bargain. As a 68-year-old woman just over 5ft tall, I put it together with ease entirely on my own, though I had to get the local hunk to help me stand the very heavy table upright after fixing the legs.
I must compliment the makers on the clearest most idiot-proof instructions I have ever come across for any product.

As this was a flat pack item ordered by my wife I was dreading its arrival and anticipated the normal problems. To my surprise the quality and precision of the component parts were superb. The chairs were easy to build and are very robust and required no re-drilling etc. The table is amazing in its construction and beefy design. The package is superb quality and excellent value.The chairs only require one person to erect but assistance is required to position and lift the table due to its weight.

Good quality sturdy table, especially worth as I got it in the sale.
Easy to put together if you have a decent set of screwdrivers, and the allen key that is supplied for the chairs is adequate.
The holes to lock in the extension weren't positioned perfectly, but as I don't require it to be extended its not really a problem.
Overall I would recommend it

was sort of what i expected, but by the time i made the chairs and opened the table, i found the bottom side of the table was chipped as well as one of the chair legs. It would have been more of an effort to return it so just lived with it.

This is a lovely looking table and chairs. Table is very heavy and definitely needs two people to turn it over and move it into situ. Chairs are a little bit fiddly to assemble but after the first couple it becomes easier.
I got this when it was on a half price offer which was brilliant, but after seeing it in my dining room,I would quite happily have paid the full price.

Could not wait to get this product assembled. My hubby has no patience for DIY, so i put the chairs together myself. The table needed two people so i had to ask for help to put in together and lift it on to its legs.
The instructions are very precise and not problem to follow
It is looking great, looking forward to family and friends visiting for a meal
The only down side was there was one bolt under the table, when being tightened It kept coming loose. After a bit of patience, it was eventually in place.

The Oakleigh Dining Table and Chairs set seems to be a good quality piece of modern furniture. Assembly was quite straightforward, two people are required for the table but otherwise one person can manage quite comfortably.
Once assembled it is apparent that the Oakleigh dining set is a heavy, solid, good quality piece of furniture that should give years of service. I bought it when it was on a special offer price and for what I paid I would say it is certainly very good value for money.

I have always been wary about buying flat pack self-sassembly furniture but I was pleasantly surprised by this set.
50% off offer with double nectar points. Then a further 15% knocked off. Seemed too good to be true but it was exactly as they promised. (Had to chase up the nectar points, so watch that.)
The chairs were fairly simple to construct....they had to be with me as I have limited DIY skills. The table merely had to have the legs attached. They are all solidly built and were exactly what we needed, Leaf extention and locking mechanism has scope for improvement but is fully functional. For the price they were a very good purchase. I would recommend them to a friend.

It is very sturdy & it was deleivered promptly with prior contact to make sure we were home to receive.

I wanted a table that would not take up too much room but could be extended when the family visited and this fits the bill.
Chairs are comfortable and right height for the table. Definitely easier if there are 2 of you to put it together both time wise and when you need to put the table upright. I bought it at a sale price so certainly good value for me.

A very good quality table, just what i needed for my kitchen. I dislike the flimsy kitchen tables that are so widely available. This one just looks so much better quality. It is very sterdy and excellent choice for anyone who is only got room for one dining/breakfast table.
The only thing i dislike is that it extends to around 180cm whereas i would have prefferred it to be 120cm extending to150cm. Thats just my preference as at times I lke to have more space in kitchen.

order arrived on time my husband put it to-gether on his own the only help we needed was to turn the table upright when completed just show what good quality thie item is by the weight of it no way is this a flimsy item very sturdey and good value for the price
