Matches well in a newly decorated lounge although the colour is more of a golden sunshine shade!
The quality is as expected GOOD mostly this is a personal choice decision :-)

I bought two of of these lamp shades in the Homebase sale for my living room.
It really is a beautiful shade, the colour of the shells have a beautiful translucency like pearls and if a breeze comes through the window they make a lovely tinkling sound.
They look very effective and glamorous and are very easy to put up, fully assembled in the box. Highly recommend.

The product arrived quickly and I am more than pleased with it! I like the fact that there are a generous amount of capiz shells on it - some other lightshades I compared it to were far sparser with the shells. I love the warmth from the champagne colour and feel this looks better than having it in stark white. It looks wonderful hung up in my living room and I think looks very interesting. I got the idea for a capiz shell lightshade from a very interesting interior design book called "Bazaar Style" by Selina Lake which inspires an approach to interior design which is very soulful, homely and vintage chic. Selina even suggests pinning brooches, badges or shells around the lightshade, which I might try. This product is great value for money and the light tinkling sound from the shells is pretty when heard.

Looks much nicer in reality than it does on the box as the picture does not do it justice. It was half price when I purchased it so it was a bargain. Makes a lovely noise, just like a wind chime when the wind blows through my window. Very happy with it overall.

The shade is so pretty and delicate looking.It makes the most beautiful sound as a breeze hits it. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on display at the store. The picture does not do it justice!

This shade looked beatiful in the area I had in mind. It is light catching in areas and is full of capiz shells with no bare spots exposing the light bulb.
