it does not say that there is a screwdriver incorporated into the drill on the description so it was a surprize when it was opened.

Great drill for money. It's more than the budget drills however the spec is far greater, it can do any job!
If you do your research you'll find it's made by top professional drill company dewalt. It's just rebranded for home market. That really makes it a great buy

Solid, powerful drill. Easy to use chuck and drill feels robust. After 3 weeks heavy domestic use drill has coped very well with everything from sinking brass screws to drilling brick. Batteries have lasted well and hold charge brilliantly.
The LED made my father-in-law jump out of his skin - an added bonus!
The only disappointing thing is the case which is poor quality and has no space for bits, screws, plugs etc. The drill itself is a pleasure to use, the case is not.
Over all, Very pleased with the product.

Very impressed with the drill. Things I like:
- Has a very comfortable size and weight
- Two batteries
- Quick charging
- Battery Life seems very good for the size and weight, used to assemble a third of a shed and still going strong.
Things I don't like:
- Does not have a spirit level to ensure you are drilling horizontally
Also, after seeing it mentioned in another review, just to note the chuck seems perfectly true to me.
In fact I'd quite like another to save switching back and forward between drill bits and screwdriver bits! All in all a superb value drill especially at the discounted price.

internal walls to hard ?
Posted 09 February 2014
as powerful as this drill maybe,If your walls are that hard that you have burnt drills out ?, Then maybe your trying to hard to make the drills work harder than they are rated for or they are old interior red wall brick which needs an SDS dedicated drill.

Stanley has a long established reputation for quality and this product carries on that tradition. It is solid and easy to use with a good range of adjustments - and it looks good too.

Top quality and robust build makes me think that this will last for years!
Particularly like the nice touch of a spotlight on the drill bit when in use - handy for those dark corners!

Have tried to contact Stanley on numerous occasions to extend the guarantee. Stanley do not answer my e mail and it was not possibleto complete the guarantee extension on line even after 5 or 6 attempts. Drill not as good as it is made out to be, not worth the knock down price.

Heard the advert for this on Talk Sport! My old one had virtually died so decided to check it out. Managed to secure the last one at local Homebase. It is sturdy, robust, feels great in the hand. Not used hammer drill facility yet but I am sure it will be as good as all the other features! Absolutely delighted!

Very good value for the money. Only problem is the chuck is ever so slightley out of true. I'd still recommend it though.
