We bought this lamp as a replacement. Unfortunately, it no longer dimmers down, just on and off now but we still like it.

Bought two of these for the bedside tables, I use mine more than the other half uses his.
The dimmable touch feature worked well for a year until one night I went to turn the light off and the lamp made a loud bang (and turned off).
It wasn't the bulb nor was it the fuse, I'm guessing there was a loose wire somewhere in there as its dead as a doornail. Waiting for the other one to go bang next.

All these touch lamps seem to be the same; if the bulb goes or after about 12 months the dimmer switch blows.
