Chose this product to complete our Richmond Oak Laminate flooring. Expected quality to match that of the flooring product - it doesn't. For a start the depth of the strip does not allow for the use of the underlay recommended for use with the laminate flooring - we had to put in a length of wood to bring up the level. Then when adjusting the strip onto its retainer, it snapped. This product is not oak and is made of an inferior material. A real pity as the actual flooring is excellent. We are now faced with finding another way of covering the gap between the floorings of our rooms. We will not be buying more of this product or recommending it to others.

Maybe I'm naive but when it says oak I expect the strip to be made of oak. It isn't.. Whether the fibre material with its vinyl veneer holds up to wear and tear on the floor remains to be seen.

This T-bar is ideal for covering gaps between rooms with connecting doors, especially if you have a plain oak wood laminate floor fitted. The 4" is perfect for most doors - for larger gaps, they can be available in a 5" width. Good purchase and does the job as well as achiving the look and finish you desire! Fantastic!
